The coast line of Skliri is rocky. However it offers some spots for sunbathing and swimming in its crystal clear emerald waters. In case you prefer sandy beaches you will enjoy the exotic waters of Skala's (main port) beach, which is located within a wonderful 5-10 minute walk from Skliri.
Strolling in the narrow street of Skliri, under the pine trees and having a meal or a drink there, is definitely one the best things to do in Agistri.
CHALIKIADA BEACH next to SKLIRI: Chalikiada is one of the most impressive beaches in the Saronic Gulf. It is a dream like secluded beach, located in a wild landscape under a stiff cliff. It has peebles and beautiful clear emerald waters which are shallow in the beginning and become very deep after 4-5 meters.
Chalikiada is officially a nudist beach but in peak days it gets crowded with non-nudists. It does not have any facilities near by.
Chalikiada can be reached through a narrow path starting from Skiri area. A walk through this path (apx 500m) offers an unforgettable experience because it passes through wonderful fragranced pine woods. However it needs some caution.
ANCHORAGE INFO: Anchoring in Chalikiada and Skliri area is not suggested for an overnight stay. They are not protected and usually have swell, even when the weather is calm. If you cannot visit them through the land, which is recommended because of the marvelous walk in the pine wood, it is worth to anchor there for a while, if the weather is convinient.
