Xyla is a beautiful beach with soft sand, small peebles, clear deep blue waters and picturesque cycladian surroundings. Usually it is not crowded offering peace and relaxation. The area is quite secluded without any facilities around, besides some permanent straw umbrellas and a few houses on the hill.
Xyla is located at apx 4-5 kilometers from Korissia port and archaeological site. It can be reached by boat or through a dirt path. If you take the coastal road to Agios Savas hill, Marades and Melissaki, after a while, the road becomes a dirt road. Instead of going to Melissaki, continue to the south-west and you will see a sign directing to Xyla. There is also another -little shorter- road through Stavroti.
Close to Xyla there are Marades, Melissaki and Mavrambeli beaches.
