Russian (or Rosikos Nafstathmos) is a beautiful and very picturesque bay with golden sand and emerald waters and is incredibly peaceful, protected from the winds. However sometimes the waters are not so clean due to the numerous boats that anchor there.
It is located at 1, 5 kilometres past Neorio Beach, reputedly the best beach of the island.
It is a very good anchorage and the nice pine trees forest makes it one of the best choices for boaters.
The Russian Bay is a famous historical site of Poros for it is the place where the first Russian ships docked to help the Greek Revolution against the Turkish yoke.
