BISTI peninsula and forest in ERMIONI, PELOPONESE

Bisti is Ermioni's landmark beautiful Peninsula , which is full of pine trees. Taking a walk in Bisti and enjoying the marvelous views form there, is one of the best things to do in Ermioni!

You may also enjoy swimming in the clean and refreshing sea around it. It is also a place where important archeological interest, since important temples had been built there in the past.

At its highest point, you may still see the ruins of the base of Athena's and Poseidon's (Ancient Greek Gods) ancient temples, which end to the charming white windmill. The whole area was circled by "Cyclopean Walls" and had also a workshop of the ancient "porfyra". You may see some of these ruins mainly at the northern part.

You may also swim in Maderi, the two tiny beaches located after Bisti. You should bare in mind though that they are usually crowded.
