Golden Beach in Agios Georgios settlement is one of the most beautiful in Northern Evia. It has sand, crystal blue waters and a wonderful forest full of pine trees...... It is popular and very organised, with a selection of water sports facilities, umbrellas and sun beds. It also has a nice beach bar.....The beach is actually part of a long beach known as Gregolimano (see separate listing). However the northern part of this beach (where a tiny sandy peninsula is formated), belongs to Club Med. The southern part is known as Hrisi Ammos (or Golden Beach in English)...... Sometimes is named as Ag. Georgios beach, taking the name from the near by settlement.......Agios Georgios is a relatively new settlement, located in the northwest side of Evia at the Lihada Peninsula. It has a small quay. The whole peninsula has emerald green waters (as seen in one photo) and pine trees coming down to the sea.
