In a very picturesque point of Lagana's Gulf, stands the pine-cladded islet of Agios Sostis.
This privately-owned islet stands on the left side of Laganas Gulf and up to 1633 was was linked to the mainland, until a strong earthquake cut it.
Today, during the summer season the island is connected with the mainland with a large wooden bridge. It operates as a nightclub.
Undeniably it is one from the most graphic points of island.
