A marvelous little beach nested in a small cove in the beautiful pine forest of the western coast of Skopelos. Located close to the famous Milia beach (see separate listing). It has the same transparent turquoise waters, white sand and peebles but is much smaller and the pines almost swim in the sea!. Kastani has become famous all over the world since Septeber 2007 when parts of the film MAMA MIA (more specifically the part "Does Your Mama Know") had been shot there. In one of the photos you may see Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth and Stellan Skarsgård arriving at Kastani beach.The kantina in the photo is Meryl Strip's (acitng Donna in the movie) beach bar.
