KIPIADI beach in PAXI Featured

Kipiadi Beach Paxi: Kipiadi is a large pebble beach on the east coast of Paxi. It lies between Loggos village and the capital Gaios.

The beach was inaccessible by vehicles until recently when the road and parking area was built down the hills to reach the bay. Until this the only way to reach the beach was a steep rocky path down. This kept the beach undeveloped and still today there are no facilities like a tavern or sun bed on the beach.
The whole half moon cove is enclosed by low rocky hills covered with olives, pines and cypress giving it a stranded feel. The beach is popular among yachters as a place to moor and take a dip. The area is quite silent and pleasant. The best way to get here is by rented boat. If you are coming by road the path behind the beach is steep and curvy, so be careful. You have to walk a steep path to get to the beach from the parking lot. Take the road to Kipos beach from Loggos. Take right turns at the two intersections on the way to reach Kipiadi.
