PETRA (KALLIKATSOU) & PLAKI beaches in PATMOS

Petra beach is one of the most insteresting beaches in Patmos because of its landscape with the impressive rock lying at the end of a narrow piece of land. It is an organized beach with umbrellas, sunbeds and a cantina. It is found next to Grikos beach and fishing village (see separate listing)

Petra is also called "Kallikatsou", which is the name of a small crow that used to nest there.

Towards south, there is Plaki beach, which has sand, small peebles, a tree and is preferred by nudists. At the end of Plaki, there is a chain of small coves and beaches with shingle, not all of them accessible from the road.
