AEGINITISSA beach & anchorage in AEGINA

Aeginitissa is fully organised beach located apx 2 km from Perdika fishing village, at the western coast of Aegina. It is one of the nicest beaches of Aegina but is usually cowded, especially in weekends. It has a nice taverna, snack-bar, beach bar, umbrellas and music. The beach has rich vegetation which goes all the way up and provides shade.

ANCHORAGE INFO: The large bay of Aeginitissa is a good choice for anchoring, but is not recommended with westeries. The landscape is attractive and quiet. At the same time it also offers facilities such as a nice taverna, a beach bar and an organised beach. You van easily reach the popular fishing village of Perdika (2km), which offers various choices for nightlfe and eating. It will take you apx 4 minutes by car or taxi, 1 hr on foot. It can also be reached by tender (apx 5-20 minutes, depending on the size and speed of the outboard).

COMMENTS: We have noticed unpredicted changes of the winds route which bring very annoying swell, even when the weather is calm.
