It is a quite nice beach with thin sand located in Merichas, which is the port of Kythnos. Recommended for those staying in Merichas and do not want to move. In any other case we do not recommend it only because Kythnos has so many wonderful and more unspoiled beaches. Very near is located the marvelous and unique Kolona and other beaches: Episkopi, Martinakia, Apokrousi etc (see separate listings).
Merichas has a public port (marina) with power supply and about 30 mooring places for private yachts.
