The 47-metre superyacht is a welcome addition to the sailing fleet.

The latest design from Italian yard Perini Navi is for a sleek 47-metre sloop. The concept includes a flybridge and an elegant stern whose deck cascades down to water level thanks to a split-level deck and minimalist steps.

Designed in-house by the Italian yard, performance and innovation play a key role in the evolution of the 47-metre yacht, with a 2,315 square metre sail plan powered by the legendary below-deck Perini captive winches and furling systems.

A fly-by-wire steering system ensures a smooth and responsive time at the helm, while an innovative keel concept allows the draft to go down to 3.9m from 9.5m for squeezing into shallow anchorages or marinas.

There is plenty of space on board for up to eight guests to enjoy themselves, including 142 square metres of exterior entertaining space. The foredeck houses the yacht’s main tender under the deck, so can be transformed into a third separated area, aside from the expansive cockpit / beach club space and the flybridge. There is also 200 square metres of indoor living space for guests – all on one level – and 360 degree views from the cockpit, main salon and bridge.

Accommodation is for eight guests across four staterooms on the lower deck, including a full beam owner’s suite with adjacent study. LY3 compliant, she runs with eight crew.
