Koukounaries beach: This is the most famous beach of Skiathos, and one of the most famous abroad. Therefore it is the most crowded. It is well-known for its extremely fine white sand and its fragrant pine trees forest from which the region took its name. It has been voted for several times, as one of the Best Beaches in the Mediterraean.

We agree that it is extremely beautiful. However the numerous umbrellas and visitors that it usually has, eliminate its beauty on the high seasons.
