TIGANAKIA beach, islets & anchorage in ARKIOI island Featured

Tiganakia is one of the Greece's yachting paradise spots! It is a group of islets south of Arkioi island and the landscape is exotic and isolated with no facilities at all. It has amazing emerald blue totally transparent waters, sandy bottom and a tiny beach. It is a popular swimming place for everyone who can use a boat, since there is no road (except paths) to get there from Arkioi port.

Tiganakia means "frying pans" in Greek!

ANCHORAGE INFO: Although this is not a very safe anchorage, many yachters stay there overnight because it is extremely beautiful. It is quite exposed for overnight stay and weather may change without being noticed! You should tigh mooring ropes to the rocks and always pay attention to the bow because there are many swallow spots.

SEA BOTTOM: Sandy bottom, holds well
